Last Saturday we came to Midvalley to wait for Myin and we didn’t notice there was a great event here which was the Malaysia Koi show and Championship 2008 that located at the Exhibition hall. It reminds the old day when I own an aquarium while feeding the little gold fishes…lolz.
Is not crowd that day and easy for photographing. I try on my new Poloriser and shot with flash, so scare the security will come towards to me..lolz.
They are believed to have originated from Eastern Asia, Aral, Black and Caspian Seas. Earliest records of Koi have been found in China and have been widely spread in Korea and Japan. The ornamental cultivation of carp flourished under the Chinese Qing Dynasty, Korean Silla Dynasty, and Japanese Edo Period.
Koi have many different colors. Some of the major colors are white, black, red, yellow, blue, and cream. While possible variations are limitless, breeders have identified and named a number of specific categories.
By the way, we saw gold fish as well…lolz.
